James Cracknell joked that his new girlfriend Jordan Connell won't be dancing with him after his Strictly Come Dancing exit.
The Olympian, 47, became the first celebrity to be kicked off the show on Sunday after struggling to get to grips with his two routines.
Appearing on Lorraine today, he insisted that he wasn't surprised to leave the competition and denied claims he had had a strop afterwards.
"Being a bad lose is not something I have ever been," he said.
Host Lorraine Kelly then moved on to the subject of the new woman in his life.
"[Jordan] came to see you on Strictly and she's still going out with you," Lorraine laughed. "So that's ok! And you're going to have more time for each other, which is great.
"There's always a wee glimmer of light!"
He grinned, responded: "Though she may go, 'No, we're not dancing.'"

"I think she might, James," Lorraine quipped. "I don't mean to be horrible but I think that might happen."
Earlier in the interview, he opened up about the reason he took part in the competition.
He said: "Everything I've done, I'd know I'd be ok at with sporting and endurance… but this, I knew I'd be bad at it.
"And I think there's a block between – something I have and other people do… to look stupid. And actually that's a huge hurdle to get over and back yourself."
*Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am on ITV
