Professional dancer James Jordan says that the Strictly judge should be axed from the hit BBC show.
It comes after Craig was left red-faced last night when he mocked Anton Du Beke's "fake teeth", not realising they were real – which had host Tess Daly in fits of laughter.
Now dancer James has had input on the issue, saying to the Daily Star that the show no longer needs "Mr Nasty".
He told the paper: "The show doesn't need Craig. He should go," adding that: "If Craig was gone they wouldn't notice any difference at all.
"The viewers wouldn't miss him either. No-one would miss him."
Judges Len Goodman and Darcey Bussell have quit the panel in recent years, and James thinks that if the show can go on without them, then it can cope without Craig.
The professional added that Len was a much bigger personality than Craig, and the show is still huge without him.
He continued: "So it would still be a big success.
"Strictly will always be a juggernaut of a show no matter who you have on there. The format just works."
In August it was tipped that James would replace Jason Gardiner on Dancing On Ice. James is known for his sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude.
And last year, he branded presenter Stacey Dooley's final performance on Strictly a "complete mess".
