Kaitlyn Bristowe Shuts Down Trolls After Chris Harrison 'Bachelorette' Host Replacement News

Ugh, the news that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams will host the next season of The Bachelorette hasn’t even been out for 24 hours and people are already tolling. Kaitlyn posted a super cute video of herself dancing with Tayshia and some Bachelor “fans” are leaving nasty comments. If you know anything about Kaitlyn, then you know that she doesn’t stand for that BS, so she’s clapping back at the haters.

“Sorry but no. Love you Kaitlyn but Chris is the only host for The Bachelor/Bachelorette,” one troll wrote. Kaitlyn replied, “Truthfully we are there to support the new bachelorette. We aren’t “replacing” anyone!!!”

Another person commented, “Bachelor ratings are gonna be so low 😂 😂😂.” Kaitlyn responded,“Ehh such a supportive female, we love to see it!” One follower wrote, “Horrible to celebrate Chris Harrison being involved in Cancel Culture…. Bachelor Nation is over 😢.” Kaitlyn clapped back: “I’m celebrating a friendship here to be honest.”

Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment released a statement on March 12 that Chris is not returning to host The Bachelorette. This news comes after Emmanuel Acho was already tapped to host After the Final Rose.

“We support Chris in the work that he is committed to doing. In his absence, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will support the new Bachelorette through next season,” the statement read. “As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion within The Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including among the executive producer ranks. These are important steps in effecting fundamental change so that our franchise is a celebration of love that is reflective of our world.”

After Chris Harrison received backlash after defending resurfaced screenshots of Rachael Kirkconnel’s at an Old South antebellum-themed party, Kaitlyn addresses the controversy. “I am extremely disappointed in Chris. He is a dear, dear friend,” she wrote at the time. “I don’t like the cancel culture — ‘Let’s fire him, hate him, f**k him’ … I think we should and we have been holding him accountable.”

Newsflash: Chris stepping aside doesn’t mean he’s getting “canceled.” It means that the franchise is holding him accountable for defending racism.

So, let’s stop the hate, huh? It’s not a good look.

You love all the deets on The Bachelor. So do we. Let’s overanalyze them together. ✔️
