Kate Garraway left embarrassed as busty throwback picture resurfaces ‘What the heck?’

Kate, 52, was joined by co-host Ben Shephard, 45, and news anchor Charlotte Hawkins, 44, on today’s edition of Good Morning Britain. With the latter celebrating her 20th anniversary in the industry, all presenters of the ITV news show were treated to throwback pictures from their heydays. The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! shocked herself and others as her’s seemed to display quite a busty posture.

With the panel marking Charlotte’s landmark achievement in the industry, the presenters took a look back to what they looked like at the turn of the millennium.

Fair to say, the reaction to the news anchor’s photo wasn’t as shocking as the one Kate received to hers.

The television veteran has served as a host on all incarnations of the early morning news show and in the year 2000, she was a star of GMTV.

When a throwback to her days on the sofa appeared on screen, the panel erupted with shock as the former campmate left little to the imagination.

The photo showed the host in a pink dress, which was quite tight fitting, particularly around her bust.

Although viewers couldn’t see Kate’s reaction visually, they could hear what was being said by the panel, with Kate exclaiming: “What’s going on there?”

Her co-star Ben quipped: “Back in the jungle?” making reference to the shower scenes which were shown on the reality show last month.

Still in a state of shock, she declared: “What the heck?”

Trying to get a better picture of when the photo was taken, Kate commented: “That was GMTV in 2000,” before another image appeared on screen which was less busty.

What was I doing?

“Oh hello, look at me,” she remarked, before adding: “Someone just said that’s my catalogue photo.”

Ben said: “That’s like something out of Mad Men that picture there,” to which his co-host continued: “Well, that was my era.”

However, the presenters minds are still firmly on the previous image, which was brought back on screen swiftly.

Ben asked: “That one before, were you actually live during that picture?” to which Kate added: “What was I doing?

“Let’s not dwell on it,” she said as her embarrassment continued.

“Probably something ridiculous,” the host commented as she tried to get her head around what was happening at the time.

“Its Friday morning,” her co-star said, with Charlotte piping up to say: “I love the team has unearthed this photo of you.

“[And they’ve] obviously been doing a lot of research as to which photo they were going to pick out.”

Kate replied: “Charlotte talks about her lustrous in journalism and I’m just doing something weird.”

The news anchor took to social media to also mark her career landmark, posting a picture of herself next to her throwback photo.
