After Love Island 2021 stars Faye Winter and Sharon Gaffka were left fuming over Hugo Hammond saying he doesn’t like plastic surgery on a partner, Katie Price has told the girls to ‘get over it’.
On Tuesday’s episode of the ITV2 dating show, the two women said Hugo was ‘ignorant as f**k’ after the islanders took part in a couple’s challenge.
The couples were tested on how well they know each other and Chloe Burrows was asked to reveal Hugo’s biggest turn-off, to which she answered ‘fakeness’.
‘Yeah. Personality and looks, so fakeness it is,’ Hugo said, shortly after one of the questions of the game had the boys guess what cosmetic procedures their partners have had done.
Despite Faye and Sharon appearing disgruntled by Hugo’s answer, Hugo then revealed his perfect type to be a ‘natural leggy blonde’, before adding: ‘Not fake,’ rubbing even more salt into the wound.
‘That word keeps getting thrown around, doesn’t it,’ Faye said angrily, while Sharon said: ‘It’s ignorant as f**k.’
After the game ended, the other boys explained to Hugo why he had upset some of the girls, as Faye stated that he needs to ‘get f**king educated why girls get work done’.
Katie wasn’t impressed with Sharon and Faye’s reactions while she watched the show last night.
She uploaded a clip from the episode on her Instagram Stories with the caption: ‘Get over it.’
The media personality didn’t end there, as Katie also spoke over the clips, saying: ‘Get over it girls. Some guys don’t like the fake look they like the girl next door.
‘If you can’t handle the criticism, don’t have the work done.’
This comes after Katie revealed that she was worried she would die after having multiple cosmetic surgery procedures at the same time in Turkey last month.
The My Crazy Life star went under the knife abroad three weeks ago and had full body liposuction, a Brazilian Butt Lift, eye and lip lifts and liposuction under her chin.
She told The Sun: ‘Honestly, I’ve gone to hell and back, it was horrific — “Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie”.
‘I just thought, “This is it, I’m going to die. I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll”.’
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
