During the season 14 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Judge gushed about her new home in gated community, Coto de Caza.
The original series centered around the women who live “behind the gates” of Coto. Judge was on the outside looking in until she eventually purchased a large home in the community. During the first episode, Judge offered a tour of the expansive home. Plus she added, her particular community was double-gated.
During the episode, Judge asserted that everyone knows people who live in Coto are wealthy. She seemed to be pleased with that assertion but ended up playing defense on Twitter with cast member, Kelly Dodd.
Is Coto in the sticks?
As cameras panned the Coto community, Judge talks about what living in the neighborhood represents. “When you tell people you live in Coto, people are like, ‘Oh, you’re rich,’” Judge says. Judge and her husband also boast to their family about joining the country club. Plus, she lives near Vicki Gunvalson and alum Jeana Keough.

Cameras offer a scenic tour of Judge’s home, which she scored for a cool $2 million. The home was previously owned by an interior decorator who remodeled the entire abode. “And it’s exactly how I would have done it,” Judge explains. “Very Cape Cod-ish, with a little bit of a modern twist to it. It’s big and open.”
Indeed, Judge’s home is gorgeous. However, soon after Judge delivered her observations about Coto, Dodd launched a tweet. “Living In Coto you’re rich!! lmfao who says that?? Coto is in the sticks!”
They didn’t seem to be playing
Sometimes cast members from reality shows will playfully banter back and forth during or after an episode. But for some reason, this didn’t seem very playful. “I pay for my houses. I don’t date old men for money,” Judge shot back. Dodd is currently dating plastic surgeon, Dr. Brian Reagan. Reagan is 55 years old and Dodd is 43.

Dodd then took a dig at how Judge marveled about how Coto is for the rich. “I sold my house for $5m dollars !! Lmfao!! I could pay for your house with cash!! Lmfao .” But not to be outdone, Judge jabbed at where Dodd was currently residing. “You’re so blessed. I hope you buy you 5 million dollar home soon.”
Of course, Dodd wasn’t going to let Judge have the last word. “You can’t buy a tear down in Newport Beach for $2m . Coto is a nicer Temecula..” Fans may recall that Dodd once resided in a gorgeous, multi-level home in Newport Beach with her ex-husband Michael.
This can’t end well
The ladies continued to war on Twitter while fans piped in. Judge wrote, “Do you own a house ? I own 2.” And added, “Let’s compare income? If it bothers you that much.”

Several fans asked Judge about her son Ryan Vieth’s opinions about Donald Trump. They also shaded her for bragging about being wealthy. The comments seemed to delight Dodd as she wrote, “Hahahaha” to comments.
Dodd topped off her thread by responding to a question about the charity work she did with her daughter last season. “Yes, I am .. and we are doing other charities you’ll see on the show .”
