KERRY Katona has landed a job presenting on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The 41-year-old former Atomic Singer will be hosting a series of segments on topics close to her heart – taking over from close pal Katie Price.
The news comes as host Steph McGovern told The Sun there are currently no plans for Katie to return following her alleged assault.
Steph told us: "There are no plans to have Katie Price back.
"We’ve got a great relationship with her but at the moment, she won’t be returning."
Asked if she's supporting Katie, Steph explained: "I don’t know her particularly well other than working on the show.
"I don’t have her number or anything like that. I just know her from the show."
Channel 4 have confirmed Kerry's new presenting gig.
A TV insider said: "Katie had a really good run on the show, but Kerry is having her big break now.
"It's a really big deal for Kerry and she's already started filming some bits for it.
"She's excited to be back on TV and follow in the footsteps of her best mate Katie."
Katie hasn't been on-screen since revealing her badly bruised face after she was allegedly assaulted last month — saying: “I ran away after being punched.”
A man in his 30s was held on suspicion of assaulting mum-of-five Katie after the incident at her home.
The TV star, 43, was taken to hospital as police were called to her home in Essex at about 1.30am.
The 43-year-old star told The Sun: “I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital. I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened.
“I ran away after being punched — I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.
“The fight was unprovoked — I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened.
“I can’t say any more.”
