Lorraine Kelly was joined by Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon via video link for an interview on Good Morning Britain today. The ITV host grilled Sturgeon on her government’s coronavirus policy and some of the decisions she’s made which differ from Boris Johnson. However, ITV viewers weren’t pleased with the interview and took to social media to slam the presenter, in particular how she referenced former First Minister Ruth Davidson, who spoke on the show earlier.

One said: “Well Lorraine kelly is clearly ruth Davidson’s number 1 fan. Couldn’t have said her name more when she was interviewing Nicola Surgeon.”

“@lorraine you didn’t ask Sturgeon about the amount of care home deaths on her watch are more than England…,” another shared.

A third wrote: “@GMB your running the Sturgeon fan club now, letting nippy spin her usual. Lorraine supports indy so bias interview again. Bring back Ruth!!”

Lorraine chatting to Nicola Sturgeon like she is a soap star. She is the Scottish First Minister, give her some tricky questions #gmb,” someone else added.
