Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu have given the fans what they wanted and announced that they are actually launching their own TV show.
And we are so here for it.
The Love Island 2022 winners are set to travel around Europe and cook for each other, which is exactly what fans have been begging for since their stint in the villa, where the pair brought all the drama and Davide’s epic one-liners made history.
Announcing the news on Channel 4’s Big Breakfast with AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan, Davide shared: ‘Yes I can tell you this.
‘We are going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey, for one week in Italy and one week in Turkey.
‘We are going to be on ITV2 and it’s going to be like our own programme.’
The Turkish soap star added: ‘It’ll be all real fighting, he’ll be cooking for me, I’ll be cooking for him.
‘It’ll be two cultures, meeting families,’ she explained.
The news follows fans begging for Davide and Ekin-Su to get more screen time, after leaving the nation in stitches this year with all the drama they brought to the villa.
From Davide’s iconic ‘You’re a liar and an actress,’ to Ekin-Su crawling onto the terrace, we just can’t get enough of them.
Elsewhere on the Big Breakfast, Ekin-Su joked: ‘I’ve been shouting at Davide everyday!’
However, the pair held back from revealing when they’re taking the next step in their relationship and moving in together, with Ekin-Su just hinting: ‘Soon.’
Fans are of course over the moon about the news, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Ekin & Davide getting their own show is something that we and especially they deserve. There will never be a pair of winners as memorable as them.’
Another wrote: Davide and Ekin really coming back on our screens,’ while a third penned: ‘£kin-Su and Davide are going to have their own show??? Yaaaaaas, Give the people what they want.’
