Love Island’s Amber Gill slams Sophie Piper in a scathing tweet

Amber Gill, who shot to fame after winning the last series of Love Island, last night took to Twitter to slam hopeful Sophie Piper who is currently living it up in the South African villa.

In last night's episode, Rochelle Humes' younger sister Sophie was left in tears after Shaughna Phillips delivered some home truths during the recoupling.

After Sophie split up with Connor Durman, who was booted from the villa, she was left vulnerable to elimination if she didn't get picked during the coupling up.

She took to pal Nas and pleaded for him to pick her in order for the brunette beauty to remain in the competition.

But, Nas who has only been in friendship couples dashed her hopes and opted to give finding love a chance with new Islander, Demi Jones.

In a sneak peek of tonight's episode, it was clear that Sophie wasn't impressed by Nas' move – leading best friend Shaughna Phillips to give her some brutal honesty.

Shaughna said: "I would've felt terrible seeing Demi go compared to you because that would've been unfair."

In another preview, Sophie was seen in tears and being hugged by Nas before she was chosen by Mike Boateng who opted to send Leanne Amaning home after she dumped him 24 hours before.

Reigning Love Island Queen, Amber Gill was less than impressed with this move, venting to her 214K Twitter followers: "Didn't her mans just leave like 48 hours ago?????"

The post has since racked up an impressive 14,000 likes.

Viewers instantly flooded the reply section, slamming Sophie – leading one to add: "Asking Naz to keep her in is harsh!!"
