Love Islandreally packed in the drama duringThursday night’s recoupling.
Among the couples who decided to stick with their original partners wasEkin-Su CülcüloğluandDavide Sanclimenti.
The couple may have been happy to be reunited with each other, with plenty of banter about how much they missed each other, but as the episode went on, it was revealed that Davide wasn’t as loyal to Ekin-Su as he made out.
When speaking to Laura Whitmore, bombshell Mollie Salmon revealed that Davide had been sharing a bed with her each night and that she “had a connection” with him.
A visibly angry Ekin-Su pushed Davide’s hand away and moved away from him as Davide scoffed.
Ekin-Su then told the rest of the villa that she felt like “she was having a heart attack” and told presenter Laura Whitmore: “I can’t talk”.
She added: “I’m shaking, I’m actually shaking”.
Fans flocked to Twitter after the dramatic scene to share their thoughts with one saying: “Molly is vex Davide picked Ekin-su.”
While another was impatient for the pair to settle down, saying: “I want to see Ekin-Su and Davide get married and I want to see it now. #LoveIsland.”
A third added that despite the drama they wanted the pair in the final: “davide & ekin-su r my winners. LOVE.”
Davide later addressed the situation, suggesting to Ekin-Su that what he had with Mollie is nothing like his relationship with her – implying that it's more than attraction.
He said that Mollie was the only new girl that he was attracted to, admitting: "Just kisses, nothing special. She slept in my bed. We had kisses. That's it. What I had from her I could have with any girl. It was just attraction. A good time."
The Italian added that he chose Ekin-Su because he “believed in their connection”.
There was plenty more drama in the villa including anawkward exchange between Dami Hope and Indiyah Polackafter both chose new partners.
Dami was far from pleased with Indiyah’s choice, despite having his new partner Summer Botwe sat by his side.
Addressing Dami’s unimpressed reaction, Indiyah said: “It is what it is.”
“Until it isn’t,” added Dami from the other side of the firepit.
However, other recouplings went slightly more smoothly. First up to choose was Jay Younger, who picked Chyna Mills, after he had previously been partnered with Danica Taylor.
However, it was no love lost, as Danica had decided to couple up with new boy Josh Le Grove.
Meanwhile, Luca Bish – of course – stayed loyal to Gemma Owen.
