Love Island’s Leanne begs Ovie to DM her as she moves on from ‘desperate’ Mike

Love Island's Leanne Amaning made a public appeal for Ovie Soko to slide into her DMs.

The winter Love Island contestant was booted out the villa shortly after she got the "ick" and dumped Mike Boateng before he pied her off in the recoupling.

Fresh out of the South African villa, Leanne didn't let her failed quest to find love put her off romance for good.

Instead, ready to move on, the fiery personality has joined a legion of Love Island fans and set her sights on last year's heartthrob Ovie.

Leanne made no secret of her feelings for the Love Island finalist when she joined Laura Whitmore on Aftersun following her exit.

The singleton made a public plea as she begged him on TV to send her a flirtatious message.

She said: "Valentine's Day is coming up. So Ovie if you're watching, slide into them DMs!"

But neither Leanne or Ovie follow each other on Instagram just yet.

Ovie has been single since the breakdown of his relationship with fellow Love Island finalist India Reynolds and he has yet to go public with someone new.

Rumours had been on the grapevine he may get together with Love Island winner Amber Gill but the pair insisted they were just friends.

Leanne called her winter fling Mike "very desperate" in his pursuit of Jess Gale while she has been romancing Justin Bieber lookalike Luke Mabbott.

Mike moving on so fast has made the islander reflect on whether his feelings towards her were "genuine" while they were coupled up in the villa.

The contestant confessed she would fly into a rage if one of her friends ended up with him.

She said: "I think he’s very desperate, but I wouldn’t be mad if one of my friends got with him.[Watching Mike and Jess] is so awkward, I can’t cope. We both agreed we’d move on.

"But I was only surprised by what he was saying to her as he was saying the same things.

"It made me question whether things were genuine."
