Masked Singer fans’ ‘minds blown’ as Kelly Osbourne is revealed as the Ladybug – The Sun

THE Masked Singer viewers were left gobsmacked last night when Kelly Osbourne was unveiled as the Ladybug.

Star judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy failed to guess her identity before host Nick Cannon helped remove her mask.

Kelly, 35, got the least number of votes from the public following her rendition of 5 Seconds Of Summer's Youngblood, prompting her to get the boot from the competition.

One stunned fan wrote on Twitter: "WOW! WHAT A SHOCKER!!! KELLY OSBOURNE!!!! ?She has all of if going! ? great talent! #maskedsingerfox."

Another typed: "OMGGGG KELLY OSBOURNE!!!! Okay born into the famous family now makes sense #MaskedSinger."

A third had no idea, writing: "Kelly Osbourne really fooled all of us!!!!!! Dangggg ???? #TheMaskedSinger."


As a fourth said: "I was so not expecting @KellyOsbourne to be the lady bug #TheMaskedSinger #ladybugMask."

After her identity was unveiled, Kelly said: “I heard the first word come out of my mouth. I was like, ‘They’re going to know it’s me'.

“And then this accent just came out and I had to do it the whole time and every single time inside this mask I’ve been dying laughing every time I have to speak.”

On last week's show judge Ken Jeong was on the receiving end of some serious insect rage.

The 50-year-old suggested the celebrity underneath the Ladybug costume was Lindsay Lohan.

He incurred wrath from the spotted bug, which threw up its hands and turned its back on the judges, when accused of being the Freaky Friday actress.

Fellow judge Robin Thicke didn't try to hide his disbelieving laughter as the audience booed the suggestion.

In the first round, Penguin was unmasked revealing that judge McCarthy had been right with her guess that it was The View co-host Sherri Shepherd.

The second half of the show saw the regular judges Robin, Jenny, Nicole and Ken stumped by the identities of the singers.

Robin was convinced Butterfly is Leona Lewis, while Nicole remained certain that Billy Porter was wearing the Leopard costume.

The panel were given extra clues by way of an item for each singer.

Flamingo, who received a standing ovation for its performance, unveiled an NAACP award.

The judges are convinced it's singer Fantasia – who did win for Outstanding Female Artist in 2005.

Raven Symone was unveiled as the singer underneath the Black Widow's costume.

Robin had confidently guessed at the singer's identity, after he revealed he had written a song for the performer.
