Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their Netflix deal in September 2020, and it's thought to be worth £109million.
But Loose Women's Jane Moore presenter and writer predicted more than a year ago that it wasn't all it's cracked up to be.
The Loose Women presenter was furious when the deal was announced, ranting on an episode of the show that Harry and Meghan secured the deal because of "who they are" not "what they have proved they can do".
She also added that it "irritated" her that Harry and Meghan had this support and financial backing over "young talent".
One of the other panel members asked if she deserved the deal.
Without hesitation Jane replied: "No. End of discussion."
She added: "It irritates the hell out of me.
"I'm a writer myself. I know there are so many writers and producers, there is so much young talent out there trying to come through, who would love to get into Netflix's door – let alone be given this deal.
"They have been given this deal because of who they are, not because of what they have proved they can do."
"I'm all for if, ten years down the line, they had made lots of programmes and come up quietly and got the deal then [that would be different].
"But I think, them just parachuting in is not good for the creative industry as a whole."
She added: "Ryan Murphy has a deal, Shonda Rhimes, these are proven really good creative writers, producers, creators."
So far Harry and Meghan have announced 'Heart of Invictus' and 'Pearl' will be produced.
'Pearl' features a young girl, and notable women in history.
It's Meghan's 40th birthday today, Wednesday, and many royal fans have been sending well-wishes.
