GMB viewers saw Miss Great Britain Jen Atkin share her story this morning with hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard .
The 26-year-old pageant queen revealed a breakup with her ex-boyfriend spurred her to lose eight stone, turning her life around.
Jen, who was crowned Miss Great Britain at the national final in Leicester this week, was 18 stone at her heaviest.
Her former fiancé ended their relationship unexpectedly, leading Jen to adopt a brand-new healthy lifestyle.
Two years ago, she started prioritising exercise and mindful eating, which helped her to shed the pounds and take on a happier outlook on life.

She told Good Morning Britain viewers: "I couldn’t cook and I had my own house and I lived on my own and it just got a bit too far."
Deciding to make a change, she said: "I taught myself to cook, I spent hours and hours on the internet teaching looking at how to exercise properly, and I went to the gym."
She added: "Losing weight is so so hard, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life."

Wondering whether her breakup was the catalyst for change, Susanna Reid asked whether it was a "revenge diet".
She said: "They call it the heartbreak diet, the revenge diet. Was it the split that motivated you to lose the weight?"
Nodding, blonde bombshell Jen replied: "I think it probably was the thing that sparked 'right, I need to change now.'
"But then I started to enjoy it, I started to go biking, I started to go walking."
Making it clear she harboured no hard feelings towards her ex, Jen quipped: "I'm thinking 'thank you so much for leaving me!'"
