Netflix fans ‘scared to turn off the lights’ as terrifying new horror Our House sees family terrorised by demons – The Sun

NETFLIX fans reckon the new horror film Our House is so terrifying they’re scared to turn off the lights.

The movie centres around three siblings who are terrorised in their own home by shape-shifting demons who look like their dead parents.

With an acceptable 60% scoring on film review website Rotten Tomatoes, Our House is packed with plenty of jumpy scenes and eerie moments.

In fact, viewers who have watched the 91-minute movie have declared it so terrifying they have to sleep with a light on now.

Writing underneath the trailer for the film on YouTube, many said it had left them feeling “f***ed up” and that it had made lockdown even worse.

“Well, guess I’m not sleeping for the next month then FML,” penned one.

Another added: “Keep convincing myself there are shadow figures outside my room so am resorting to buying a night light… I’m 30.”

A third ranted: “This film f***ed me up – can’t trust anyone when the ghosts looks like your damn parents!”

“As if lockdown wasn’t bad enough I’ve not got to keep an eye out for ghosts thanks to Our House,” moaned a fourth.

The 2018 thriller follows science wiz Ethan who accidentally invents a device that has the ability to amplify the paranormal activity in his house.

After his parents are killed in a freak accident, he comes home to be with his two younger siblings and brings the machine, which is meant to generate wireless electricity, with him.

The three of them start to believe their parents are visiting them but it soon becomes apparent they’ve unleashed the wrong kind of spirits.
