NETFLIX has confirmed it has renewed hit series You for a third season.
The Penn Badgley-led drama returned for its second season on Boxing Day last year and was once again a hit among fans.
Following stalker-turned-killer Joe Goldberg, the series is based on the books You and Hidden Bodies by author Caroline Kepnes.
A tweet on the official Netflix account for the UK & Ireland read: "Breaking: You will return for a third season. As in, the show. Called You. Not *you*. You know?"
Fans were thrilled by the news, with one replying: "I feel like I could watch 5 more seasons and not get bored of it."
A second tweeted: "YESSSS.
*Spoilers ahead for season two of You*
The second season ended with Joe finding out his new girlfriend, Love, was also a killer.
Despite his own crimes, Joe is horrified but can't leave Love after she also reveals she is pregnant with their baby.
Showrunner Sera Gamble previously revealed she was hopeful she will be able to carry on the twisted story with a third season.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said: "The stakes are pretty high.
"I have so many questions about Love’s mother who’s incredibly in the picture at the end of the season, like how much she really knows about her children.
"We wrote [the finale] hoping that we will get the opportunity to tell more story because we’re really excited with the seeds planted at the end of season two."
Season three will consist of 10 episodes with Penn and Victoria Pedretti – who plays Love – set to reprise their roles.
The third series is set to premiere in 2021 on Netflix.
