AceShowbiz -Disney+ has treated fans to the first look at highly-anticipated “Moon Knight“. Unveiled for viewing pleasure on Monday, January 17, the first official trailer of the Marvel series features Oscar Isaac struggling to tell life and dreams apart before eventually embracing the chaos.

The trailer, which debuts during the NFL playoff game on ABC, offers fans more insights into Oscar as a double set of personalities. It opens with Oscar’s Steven, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, calling Staying Awake about his sleeping disorder. “I can’t tell the difference between my waking life and dreams,” he shares.

As he is haunted by something, he receives a call from a woman who calls him “Marc,” referring to his other character, mercenary Marc Spector. The new clip also features the first glimpse of Ethan Hawke‘s villainous character, Dr. Athur Harrow. “It must be very difficult. The voices in your head,” he tells Steven. “There’s chaos in you. Embrace the chaos.”

The trailer ends with Steven/Marc transforming into one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic street-level vigilantes Moon Knight. Donning his snazzy white suit, he is seen beating someone down.

“The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life,” the official synopsis of “Moon Knight” reads. “Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”

Created and written by Doug Moench (“Harley Quinn“, “Young Justice“), “Moon Knight” is directed by Mohamed Diab (“Amira“).

May Calamawy joins the cast as an undisclosed character, while Gaspard Ulliel is tapped to portray Anton Morgart. The Egyptian moon god Khonshu also appears.

The 6-part TV series is set to hit Disney+ on March 30 with each episode released weekly.
