Amanda Owen, the star of Our Yorkshire Farm, is reportedly planning her return to TV following rumours of an affair amid her split from husband and co-star Clive.
The mum-of-nine has been absent from our screens for a while but is expected to appear on the new Channel 4 show Our Farm Next Door, alongside Clive, 69, and their son Reuben.
Allegations surfaced earlier this year that Amanda had a five-year relationship with married 71-year-old web designer Robert Davies, who she met when the couple hired him to work on the digital side of their business.
However, the Owen family are set to reunite while starring in an upcoming show, which will see them renovate an old farmhouse.
The show reportedly went into production in August and is set to air some time next year.
A source told The Sun: "Amanda's ego has taken a battering. Her popularity fell off a cliff after the affair was exposed.
"She knows the only way for her to get back on TV – and for it to be successful – is for Clive to be involved and for them to put up a united front."
Despite their 22-year marriage ending, Clive has reportedly agreed to continue working with Amanda on their farm.
Robert's investment banker wife Yasumi was reportedly heartbroken after she allegedly found a handwritten note from Amanda to Robert in his car which read: "Robert, life is too short and happiness is too rare. I love you."
According to reports, Yasumi confronted her husband but claimed he "was more concerned about protecting her [Amanda] TV career".
"She portrayed herself as a wife and a mother, devoted to family, and an inspiration to others. But she's been lying to the public and living a double life," she told The Sun.
Recent reports suggest Robert is still seeing Amanda, who is around the same age as his daughter, and last month, it was reported that he had started divorce proceedings with Yasumi.
Speaking earlier this year to Lorraine Kelly on the Lorraine show, Clive admitted he had a "huge part" to play in the breakdown of his romantic relationship with Amanda during filming of their hit show.
He said: "It was such a change in our lives and I sadly made a right mess of things basically. I had a massive part to play in the relationship ending…. A massive part to play. I was ranting and raving and drinking and carrying on. I don't know – jealousy.
