PAUL Gascoigne's son Regan, 23, has come out publicly as bisexual – but his footballer dad doesn't know.
The dancer revealed he dated men without his father's knowledge before but thinks Paul, 52, will "approve" of his sexuality.
Speaking in a candid interview about growing up with his father, Regan said: "I'm bisexual, I date men and women. I'm really open about that."
He continued to The Sunday Mirror: "I haven't had a lot of relationships though. I've only dated three people. I haven't told my dad but I don't think he will mind.
"He is proud of me whatever I do and whatever decisions I make."
He also opened up about being brought up while his dad battled alcoholism.
The dancer said he spent weekends in The Priory Clinic while his dad underwent treatment to get sober.
Regan added: "The past is the past. He's my dad, I'll always love him and he'll always love me no matter what."
Also, the 23-year-old said he regrets making claims in a documentary when he was 12 that he wanted his dad out of his life.
Paul walked out on the family when Regan was a baby after a series of rows with now ex-wife Sheryl, 54.
Regan is starting his career in showbiz. He appeared on BBC One show The Greatest Dancer in January.
He also sang with Demi Lovato and Urban Voices Collective at the Europe Music Awards and on ITV's The Real Full Monty: Ladies' Night.
Regan opened up about how as a boy his dad was upset when he rejected a gift of football boots and instead asked for ballet shoes.
This comes as Paul Gascoigne is cleared of sexual assault after being accused of grabbing a woman "very forcibly on the lips" before putting his tongue into her mouth on a train.
Gazza had allegedly been "shouting and swearing" behind the woman and asked if she was a fortune teller after swigging beer from a milk carton.
But the jury took just two hours and 45 minutes to clear him of sexual assault.
The England star has said his years battling alcoholism were the "worst of his life".
He has been arrested for drink driving, assault and possession of drugs in the past decade.
