So far in Season 4 of Real Housewives of Potomac, the sexual assault charges against Michael Darby were dismissed due to insufficient evidence. However, some of the other Housewives aren’t convinced and believe Monique Samuels secretly has footage of the incident.
Also, Ashley Darby realized in therapy that she views her husband as a father figure as a result of the strained relationship she has with her dad. Therefore, she wants to go to Georgia and see her father for the first time in over 30 years.
In Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4 Episode 13, Candiace Dillard went house shopping, Samuels played a prank on her husband, and another person came forward with accusations against Michael Darby. Keep reading to find out what else happened.
Gizelle Bryant tried to make nice with Ashley Darby
Still wanting to be friends with Darby, Gizelle Bryant called her friend and invited her and Robyn Dixon to her unfinished home. Even though Bryant refuses to believe that Michael did not touch the cameraman’s butt, Darby still thinks she means well.
Bryant admitted she and the other RHOP ladies were “shady” towards Darby when Rost talked about Darby at a party. Darby then brought up the fact that Samuels showed her text messages between her and Dillard to prove that Samuels wasn’t talking down on her situation.
However, Bryant felt like Samuels threw Dillard under the bus by doing that, and warned Darby that Samuels would do the same to her.
Candiace Dillard wants multi-million dollar home in ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Season 4 Episode 13
Because Dillard wants to get out from under her mother’s wing, she went house hunting with her husband, Chris Bassett. She found a house that she liked, but Bassett was not fond of the $2.5 million price tag that came with it.
However, she assured her husband they could afford the house, as long as they continue to work.
Monique Samuels played a prank on her husband
At 34-weeks pregnant, Samuels realized they did not have a plan if she were to go into early labor. Therefore, she played a prank on her husband by pouring water on herself and pretending her water broke. He immediately sprung into action, and called 9-1-1, before his wife had him hang up the phone and explained they needed to prepare themselves.
Ashley Darby wants to meet her father in ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Season 4 Episode 13
After Darby went to therapy on Episode 11, she realized she views Michael as a father-figure because her father abandoned her at the age of 1. Darby also talked to her mother and decided she needed to go to Georgia to see her dad and finally get her long-awaited answers.
Darby said she tried to communicate with her father before on Facebook; however, he blocked her. Even though she doesn’t know her dad, Darby is close with her father’s sister, Sheila. They haven’t seen each other in over ten years, and Sheila hasn’t spoken to her brother since 2011.
However, her aunt Sheila agreed to accompany Darby on the trip to see her father for almost the first time.
Katie Rost’s boyfriend accused Michael Darby of being inappropriate
Bryant, Dixon, Dilliard, and her mother, went to a charity event for Rost. Although they weren’t sure what the event was about, they came because Rost’s mother knows the executive director. Rost “forgot” to invite Ashley Darby, and had her boyfriend repeat Michael Darby’s latest bizarre remark.
On the last episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, Rost claimed her boyfriend, Jacob, said Michael Darby made an inappropriate comment towards him, saying, “When I call you, make sure you answer on your private phone.”
However, when Jacob explained the situation to the ladies, he said he had two separate phones, a business and a private phone. Then, Darby allegedly told him that if he calls, and Jacob is on his business phone, he needed to hang up and answer his personal phone for Darby.
The Housewives, who still believe that Darby inappropriately touched the cameraman, think Jacob’s story only confirms their suspicions.
