Rebekah Vardy admits shes deeply ashamed of Peter Andre chipolata comment

Rebekah Vardy has opened up about selling her story after she bedded Peter Andre in her tell-all TalkTV interview admitting she deeply regrets the article but did "put her name" to her comments about their bedroom antics.

Talking to host Kate McCann, the Dancing on Ice star, 40, vehemently denied that she had ever sold a story on Coleen Rooney to any media organisation despite losing the Wagatha Christie trial.

She was then asked about another story regarding Katie Price's ex which was brought up in court during her trial with Coleen.

Kate probed: "There was a story that came up for example about Peter Andre during the trial – that was an example of a story that you had given to the press…"

Rebekah then responded: "I didn't leak that. That was a story that I put my name to and it was something that I deeply regret and I'm deeply ashamed of. "

She then admitted feeling it was "deeply wrong" that Peter was even mentioned.

She continued: "But it was so long ago. Life for me was so different then and I tried to explain the situation in which that came up and you know I just think that was wrong for him to have (been) brought into that situation.

"He had nothing to do with it. That had nothing to do with what I was accused of."

Vardy has previously admitted her regrets over comparing Peter Andre's manhood to a "chipolata" when she sold her story of their night of passion.

The story from 2004 resurfaced when Coleen Rooney’s barrister David Sherborne presented to the court a News of the World interview about an alleged rendezvous with Peter.

The headline read: “Peter’s hung like a small chipolata, shaved, slobbery, lasts five minutes”.

In the article, it was claimed that the Australian singer managed “just five minutes of sex with Rebekah”, and said Andre shaved all of the hair off his body.

She further claimed his penis was like a “miniature chipolata”, branding it “the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen”.

Vardy added in the article that Andre “made no attempt to satisfy me” and claimed that when kissing he “drooled like a slobbery dog”.

Mr Sherborne then asked Vardy: “Did you think it was respectful of Mr Andre’s desire not for this to be made public for you to say all this to the News of the World and 4million readers?”

Vardy then claimed she was “forced” to do the story by her ex-husband.

She said: “I was forced into a situation by my ex-husband to do this story.

“This is something I deeply regret and something that is very much part of my past. It is not nice to read. But I was in a terrible, terrible relationship.

“The consequences of not doing something were far worse than doing it. It is horrible.”
