RYAN Thomas has been spotted showing off his latest extravagant purchase this morning.
The former Coronation Street star, 35, has treated himself to a Rolls Royce Wraith estimated to be worth £286k.
He took his new pride and joy to the car wash this morning and paid special attention to the shiny silver and black detailing around the sides.
Ryan dressed down for the messy job wearing a camel jacket with ripped jeans.
And he should know his way around cars as he was best known for playing mechanic Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street for 16 years.
Ryan admitted recently that he's ready to return to Coronation Street – because he misses the soap and his former co-stars.
He told Woman magazine: "It was the right time to leave, but I miss it every day.
He said: "It runs in my blood and it's where I cut my teeth, but I left for a reason. I left because I wanted new experiences.
"I'd never say never but I have no plans in the near future."
Following his departure from the cobbles in 2016, he ventured into reality tv and made an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
Alongside his brothers, Adam and Scott Thomas he recently appeared in an ITV six-part series called Mancs in Mumbai, that saw them head to India to discover their family roots with dad Dougie James.
Nevertheless he has been very busy with fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh, 28, who welcomed son Roman on 12 March – just before the UK went into lockdown due to Covid-19.
Ryan told The Sun: “Lucy has been a supermum.
“There is no rule book about being a mother and I think it has been a day-to-day challenge and she has dealt with it all amazingly, I’m super proud of her.”
However there have been some explosive moments.
During an interview with Lorraine Kelly recently, Ryan and Lucy were shocked to discover their bundle of joy had done a poo- covering his white onesie live on air, which brought amusement to them and Lorraine also.
Ryan said: "He's got his best outfit today, and just for you on camera – pooped himself."
The actor has previously revealed how life in lockdown has been challenging with a newborn.
“Being a ‘celebrity’ means nothing when you are going through this, it’s no difference to me and the person next to me – it is daunting and it is intense," he said.
"The lack of sleep is terrible and you can’t think straight."
