Scarlett Moffatt admits she feels like she's 'not a proper TV presenter' after she was axed from Saturday Night Takeaway

SCARLETT Moffatt has admitted she feels like she’s ‘not a proper TV presenter’ after she was axed from Saturday Night Takeaway.

The former Queen of the Jungle opened up about her experience during the How To Fail podcast with host Elizabeth Day.

Last year ITV revealed the 30-year-old star would not “feature as a contributor" on the next series of the show, which she had appeared on alongside Ant McPartlin, Dec Donnelly and Stephen Mulhern since 2017.

Scarlett had previously described the gig as her "dream job".

Talking about her experience on Gogglebox and the opportunities it’s brought her, Scarlett revealed: “I sort of have imposter syndrome, and I think when is this all going to end, when are they going to realise that I'm not a proper tv presenter.

“I just have fun, I feel like I'm Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana, it's the best of both worlds."

Scarlett, who found fame on Gogglebox before being crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2016 , was announced as one of the co-presenters of Saturday Night Takeaway in 2017.

She said at the time: "I've watched Saturday Night Takeaway with my family for as long as I can remember, I'm such a huge fan, so to be part of one of the biggest entertainment shows out there, with two of my all-time TV heroes Ant and Dec, is an absolute dream."

The bubbly blonde was dropped by the show in November 2019. An ITV spokesman said: “Scarlett Moffatt won’t feature as a contributor in the 2020 series of Saturday Night Takeaway.

"We thank Scarlett for all of her hard work on the show and will announce details of the new series nearer transmission.”
