Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause looks unrecognizable in throwback clip from 2004 MTV dating show

SELLING Sunset star Chrishell Stause looked completely unrecognizable in a throwback clip she shared from when she was on an MTV dating show.

Prior to making a name for herself on Netflix’s real estate reality show, the TV personality participated in a 2004 show called Wanna Come In? for a “couple hundred bucks.”

To celebrate the 2021 MTV Awards airing on Sunday night, Chrishell decided to give fans a fun throwback to enjoy.

She shared a clip from her episode of the dating show, which saw the 39-year-old looking totally different as her then early-20s self.

Chrishell said she was waiting tables at the time and “auditioned for a scripted show & the casting director asked if I’d be up to go on a date.”

The reality star straightened her hair and wore a black top with a pleated skirt for the date.

What she didn’t know until after she filmed was that her date had someone in his ear trying to coach him on how to get Chrishell to invite him into her home at the end of the night.

The two didn’t have a great date, and she ended up not only turning him away from joining her inside her house but also sent him on his way with just a handshake.

“A handshake is brutal!! I could have at LEAST hugged him goodbye ???‍♀️?,” she said in her caption.

The short-lived MTV series lasted for less than a year.

This was Chrishell’s “very 1st time on TV,” but she landed a full-time gig soon after, becoming a series regular on the ABC soap opera All My Children the following year.

It was during her time on this show, from 2005 to 2011, that she met her ex-husband Justin Hartley.

She co-starred with his then-wife Lindsay Korman and started dating him in 2014, a couple of years after he divorced his wife.

Justin and Chrishell got married in October 2017, but he filed for divorce two years later, with the Selling Sunset star alleging he told her about the divorce in a text, and she opened up about it during season 3 of her Netflix show.

Their divorce was finalized earlier this year on February 22.
