Hollyoaks’ Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) contemplates a future outside the eponymous village, after she interviews for a job in Scotland.
The young teacher hinted that she wasn’t happy in her current position several weeks ago, after she was questioned about her relationship with student Sid Sumner (Billy Price).
In scenes which air this Friday (June 25), she interviews for a job in Scotland, but opts not to tell Sid or her family.
Ahead of the interview, Courtney opens up to Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) and Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins), confiding in them about being unsure of herself.
Tom and Yazz seemingly only have words of support, as they encourage her to go for it.
But will she get the job?
That remains to be seen, but next week, Courtney has a decision to make!
Her friends and family give her conflicted advice on the matter, but what will she decide?
And if she does, in fact, get the job in Scotland, will she take it?
If so, will Courtney be bidding farewell to the village?
Say it ain’t so!
One to watch: Monday June 28 at 7pm on E4.
