To her surprise, Andre pulls away and explains that he is actually her half-brother from her dad’s side. Vicky is left stunned, and runs off in horror.
It isn't the first time that Hollyoaks has featured an inappropriate romance over the years, and the concept has also taken centre stage in other soaps, including the infamous Sharon Watts with her adopted brother Dennis in EastEnders. We have a look back at some of soapland's most incestuous relationships.
Hollyoaks
A few years back Hollyoaks viewers were gripped as it was revealed that Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) and Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) – who had a child together – were twins.
It turned out that the pair were separated as children and had no idea that they were brother and sister when they met up in their teens. They got together and ended up having baby Nico together.
The whole thing came out a lot later, when Nico (who was given up for adoption) went looking for answers about her roots. Lots of people thought Nicol’s dad was going to end up being Sienna’s dad, but it turned out to be her twin.
Neighbours
Ramsay Street was rocked in 2017 when girlfriend and boyfriend Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) found out they were siblings. The pair were getting close and were about to take things to the next level when Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) told them he was dad to both of them.
Actress Zoe told Tenplay at the time: "It's probably the worst news you could ever hear after dating someone. It was just so awkward, horrible, mortifying. Very weird! She has nightmares. Now everyone she meets will need to get a DNA test, just to make sure they aren't related."
Coronation Street
In 2018 fans were left cringing when Carla Connor (Alison King) had a fling with her nephew Ali Neeson. The pair were not blood relatives, as Carla had been married to the brother of Ali's mum Michelle (Kym Marsh).
Plus Ali grew up away from the Connors because of a birth swap mix-up so they didn't really see each as family. However, viewers were still convinced the tryst was all wrong.
It also caused plenty of drama between Carla and Michelle, who caught them kissing.
EastEnders
Walford's Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Dennis Rickman weren't related by blood either, but it caused a sizeable stir when they got together. Dennis – played by Strictly Come Dancing star Nigel Harman – was Dirty Den's biological son, while Den adopted Sharon.
But many fans were not on board when they fell for each other and started up a secret romance. They kept coming back together despite plenty of bumps in the road and ended up having a son together.
