Spoilers: Cocaine disaster for teenager Simon as he is trapped in Corrie

Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) finds himself in too deep in Coronation Street, and Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is left in deadly danger as a result.

Simon returns home and informs Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) that he’s spent the night at a mate’s, before leaving a fiver on the table — telling her she can do her own shopping!

Later, the young man shows off to new pal Jacob, as he boasts about his criminal past, and his time as a gang member. Jacob is impressed, telling Simon that he’ll fit right into his new role.

Simon is taken aback when Jacob presents him with the latest phone. Jacob explains it’s a perk of the job. However, things take a sinister turn when the newcomer suggests that Simon should sample the drugs himself.

Simon’s unsure, but what will he do?

Later in the week, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) stops by with breakfast for both Leanne and Simon, but he’s shocked at the state of the flat.

Meanwhile, Sam begs Simon to take him on a bike ride, but as they’re about to set off, Jacob shows up, and informs Simon he’s got an urgent job he needs him to carry out.

Simon promises Sam he’ll be no more than half an hour, but as he heads off, he accidentally leaves his delivery bag behind.

Simon is tasked with teaching a young lad a lesson, and therefore he and Jacob bundle him into the back of a car.

However, Sam witnesses the assault and is left in shock, as he pedals away with the bag — containing two bags of cocaine — in his possession.

Has Simon’s actions put Sam in deadly danger?
