Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) needs to learn how to keep his anger under control if he’s to expose the truth about Will (Ben Hackett) and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) in Coronation Street.
This week, Todd’s happiness over finally getting engaged to Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) didn’t last long as he discovered a note threatening to reveal all of his lies.
Convinced the note was from Paul, Todd took pleasure in reminding Paul that he would never get back with Billy. However, much to his shock, Todd soon discovered the threatening messages came from teenager Will.
Tonight (July 9), Will’s plan to get under Todd’s skin continued as he approached Summer (Harriet Bibby).
Entering Speed Daal, Billy was initially shocked to see Will with Summer, but it didn’t take long for him to forgive the troubled teen for breaking into his flat and offered to find him somewhere to live.
Later, after finding Will and Summer in the café, Paul confronted Billy, failing to understand why he’d let Summer hang out with Will when he nearly got her killed.
Paul’s anger ensued but luckily, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) was there to calm things down.
Heading to the shops, Paul and Gemma spotted a stressed Todd, who was trying to scrape together some cash for Will.
Keeping things cool for once, Paul got into Todd’s head, saying he had seen Will.
‘Looks like he’s going to be hanging around, now that he’s friends with Summer!’ Paul said to a clearly paranoid Todd.
‘So that’ll give me a chance to find out everything about him’, he added.
Suffice to say Paul is convinced Todd and Will know each other, but can he discover the full truth?
Most importantly, if Paul tries to prove to Billy that Todd and Will have worked together, will Billy even believe him?
