Spoilers: Shock exit for Nate as he's jailed for the hit-and-run in Emmerdale?

Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) makes a huge decision in Emmerdale, as he decides to take the blame for the hit-and-run which left Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) fighting for her life.

With a new witness having given evidence against Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), the Dingle clan are concerned over what this could mean for the young woman’s future.

Sam (James Hooton) makes quite the discovery when he realises that Belle is behind on her medication and therefore encourages her to take her pills, but with the voice of Lisa (Jane Cox) telling her not to, she ultimately refrains from doing so.

Meanwhile, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) antagonises Moira and Cain (Jeff Hordley) once more after a showdown in the street.

Moira manages to convince Cain to remain calm, informing him that Jamie no doubt left a shred of evidence lying around which they’ll be able to use against him, and therefore they break into Home Farm to locate such a thing!

Meanwhile, Nate is left in shock when he realises the extent of Belle’s history with schizophrenia, and thus — with Jamie having copped on to what the Dingles are up to — he offers to take the rap in an effort to save Belle.

Cain is left in admiration of his son, but Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) isn’t too pleased, as she’s overheard her beau’s suggestion.

However, in spite of Tracy’s reaction, Nate heads to the police station, but he struggles to muster up the courage to set foot inside.

He plans on confessing to the hit-and-run, but will he be able to do so?

If so, will he be sent down?
