Stranger Things fans call out plot holes with the Upside Down, confused by who built cars and buildings in the dimension – The Sun

STRANGER Things fans call out plot holes with Upside Down as they are confused about who built the buildings and cars in the nightmare dimension.

As fans clamour for season four of the popular Netflix show, they've been rewatching the series to get hyped up.

However, that means viewers have spotted a few inconsistencies with the lore of the nightmare realm.

One Reddit user asked: "How did buildings get into the Upside Down?"

He continued: "And, when Billy parked his car at the start of season three outside of the phone box, his car was still there when he was in the Upside Down.

"So, has his car been there the entire time the Upside Down has existed? If someone drove past the phone box, would Billy see the car but not the person?"

How the Upside Down works has remained ambiguous, but it is another dimension that exists beside the real one.

Production on the much anticipated fourth and final season of the show has been delayed, so fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out what happened.

At the end of season three, the Hawkins gang stopped the Mind Flayer and Jim Hopper appeared to die in an explosion to stop the Upside Down from invading Earth.

A new teaser trailer confirmed Hopper was still alive – and being held captive in a Russian labour camp.
