Will Bayley announced he would be withdrawing from Strictly Come Dancing due to his knee injury and admitted he is “gutted” about the decision. He said he didn’t want his time on the show to end like this but “loved every second of it”.
The news broke on the official Strictly Come Dancing Twitter account and fans were quick to beg for Catherine to return and fill Will’s place.
Commenting on the announcement, one viewer shared: “If will bayley can’t dance then would you be able to bring back Catherine and jo would be so happy if you did xx.”
Another added: “Bring Catherine back to take his place.”
“Will Catherine and Johannes be coming back then? Or will nobody just not go home this week ? Or will the competition carry on ??#strictlyspoiler #STRICLYBOTTOM @bbcstrictly,” someone else questioned.

Fans were not impressed when Catherine was eliminated from the BBC show on Sunday night.
She had faced Mike Bushell and his professional dance partner Katya Jones in the dreaded dance-off.
While Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli opted to save Catherine, Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Mike.
However, the deciding vote came down to head judge Shirley Ballas who ultimately chose to send Catherine home.
Viewers were furious, branding the decision a fix with some also calling for Shirley to be sacked.
However, it is unlikely Will will be replaced in the competition.
One fan shared on Twitter: “When this has happened before there’s still been an elimination each week and then just less people in the final.
“But not totally sure about this year. Also there wouldn’t really be much time for Catherine to do a dance well for this week.”

“I just didn’t want to end it like this.”
The star added: “But there are so many positive things I want to focus on like it was an amazing journey and I loved every single second of it.
