Craig Revel Horwood has announced that he will be returning to the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel later this year when it returns to our screens.
The BBC dancing competition is yet to confirm the judging panel or the celebrity cast for the 2022 series, but Craig couldn't resist confirming his return.
Sitting down for a chat with Strictly It Takes Two host Rylan on BBC Radio 2, Craig opened up about The All Balls And Glitter Tour.
But Rylan was keen to get an exclusive for his show and couldn't resist asking Craig about whether or not he would be returning to the show later this year.
Rylan asked: “I can’t let you go without asking about Strictly. I know nothing has been announced yet but of course, you’re going to come back, aren’t you?”
Fans were no doubt overjoyed when he replied: “I’m definitely coming back I signed for two years that’s unusual. Usually it’s every year and we don’t know what’s happening ever.
“I do obviously keep my Saturdays in the lead up to Christmas free.”
He then added: "But I’m definitely coming back and I can’t wait."
Speaking of the "fantastic" 2021 series, Craig then went on to gush about it and said: "Last year was just extraordinary with people like Rose [Ayling-Ellis] and John [Whaite] all of it was so good."
Making a sweet comment to Rylan he then added: "It was fantastic and I’m loving you, can I say, on It Takes Two."
"Oh stop it you," Rylan said in a coy way, before Craig affirmed: "I do love you on that. I think you’re the only man on television who’s taller than me a lot thinner as well."
This comes as speculation swirls around who might be taking part in the competition later on in the year.
The 2022 series is set to be completely different to any other series because professional dancer Oti Mabuse has quit seven years, and Anton du Beke is to take over judging from Bruno Tonioli.
Just a matter of months from now will see the BBC drip-feed us the proposed cast, but if you can't wait until then, check out our rumoured list of potential new Strictly celebs.
