Strictly Come Dancing fans were left sobbing on Saturday as Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice included a "special" silent moment in their dance to celebrate the deaf community.
EastEnders star Rose, 26, who is the first deaf contestant to take part in Strictly, performed a stunning Couple's Choice dance to Clean Bandit's Symphony with pro partner Giovanni, 31.
During the routine, the duo included a "special" silent moment in their dance to celebrate the deaf community with the surprise leaving the judging panel in tears.
Motsi Mabuse said: "Thank you, it was such a beautiful moment to include us in your world and for us to actually understand how important and how aware we all could be of each other generally everywhere. This was so special."
Shirley Ballas said: "Well, I feel first of all that I should stand up out of respect for you sharing, particularly the silent moment, to which I was totally not expecting it. It takes you into a much deeper place. I'm sure the deaf community will be absolutely so proud of you."
She added: "This is a number that will be etched in my heart for a long, long, time. It was absolutely beautiful."
Anton Du Beke was left in tears as he commented: "Do you know, you get moments like this and I've been doing the show since the beginning the same as Craig and the same as you, Tess.
"We've had the great pleasure and the honour of being on Strictly Come Dancing for a long time. I'm getting a bit emotional, and that's the greatest thing I've ever see on the show. Congratulations!"
Taking to Twitter, viewers said they were left sobbing over the "beautiful" moment as they begged that the show gave the duo the winning Glitterball trophy straightaway.
One person said: "I am full on sobbing at Rose and Giovanni’s couple’s choice dance. That moment when the music stopped, I was stunned and moved. Powerful and clever. Thank you Rose for allowing us access to your world. #Strictly."
A different account put: "Oh goodness, as ever I loved Rose and Giovanni’s dance on #Strictly No, you’re crying."
