Strictly's AJ Odudu in tears after horrific injury left her in agony on crutches – with the final in doubt

STRICTLY Come Dancing's AJ Odudu fought back tears tonight as she revealed the extend of her shocking injury.

The TV presenter, 33, said she can't even stand and has been left in so much pain she projectile vomited.

It comes as she prepares to perform three dances in the hope of clinching the Strictly Glitterball trophy in Saturday's final.

AJ arrived on her crutches with pro partner Kai Widdrington at Strictly's Elstree headquarters tonight to appear on It Takes Two.

But despite sustaining the injury so close to Saturday's final, AJ is "hopeful" that AJ will be fit for this weekend's show.

Speaking to Janette Manrara on Strictly: It Takes Two tonight she said: "I'm upset because I've suffered an injury.

"I don't know when it happened but essentially I've got issues with my joints, I suffered some traumatic injury to my ligaments, there's a lot of inflammation.

"I can't pinpoint when it happened during training. In fact, we felt really positive after training on Monday.

"We've got three amazing dances that we really want to perform. I know I'm getting upset but I am genuinely remaining hopeful.
