- The 100 season 6 cast: Who is in the cast of The 100?
Episodes will be airing on a weekly basis rather than any sort of mass drop.
The CW released a trailer previously teasing the final outing, which promises to be the most epic one to date.
In the teaser, it appears things are going to be coming full-circle as Clarke Griffin (played by Eliza Taylor) attempts to tackle the fallout on Sanctum after season six.
There was also some footage from season one when Clarke and the other 99 teenage delinquents were sent down to a decimated Earth to see if it was inhabitable.
One big question which now seems to have been answered is the Anomaly is a wormhole which could lead the characters back to Earth before its destruction.
There’s a hint the show could end with Clarke going back in time to stop the original nuclear holocaust.
Additionally, Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) appear to be alive – or at least there’s a flashback into the anomaly where she and Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Miličević) were trapped together.
The final series will be dealing with Octavia’s relationship with her brother Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) given their oftentimes fraught relationship.

Speaking about bringing The 100 to a close, Rothenberg posted on social media last year: “With #The100 Season 6 finale just days away, I have some bittersweet news to share: Season 7 will be our last.
“We are eternally grateful to WB & CW for always allowing us to tell our story the way we want to & to wrap the show on our terms. What an incredible ride this has been!”
He also explained to Entertainment Weekly how he had wanted the show to end generally.
Rothenberg told the publication: “It’s much easier knowing [the show is ending].

While The 100 may be coming to an end, season seven is expected to be serving fans up with a backdoor pilot.
