The Apprentice's history-making all-female final four is set to be whittled down to two in tonight's episode (Thursday 17 March.) Kathryn Burn, Steff Aflek, Harpreet Kaur and Brittany Carter will be at the mercy of Lord Sugar's aides as they and their business plans are scrutinised in the dreaded interview process.
Despite the final four admitting they feel like a girlband now, in a recent interview Kathryn explained that making friends on the show was a difficult journey.
"I know I went in to the process thinking ‘I’m not here to make friends’, and I really wasn’t," she explained.
However, Kathryn revealed her cool exterior cracked as she got to know her colleagues.
She explained: "As the process goes on, you slowly start to realise that it’s your ‘competition’ who’s there to cheer you up, give a big cuddle after a hard day and support you.
"And naturally, when you’re spending so much time with each other and in such a different environment, special bonds are going to be made."
When Kathryn was asked to share one thing she loved about her fellow finalists, she said: "I could write you a list on all of them! I really do love them all so much.
"Harps is such a sweetheart – she’s always putting others first and making sure everyone else around her is ok. In terms of business, she’s the definition of boss lady… Is there anything she can’t do?!
"Britt is a bundle of energy that everyone just loves to be around (and one of the funniest people I know – she has actually made me cry with laughter so many times)! She is so kind, considerate and is destined for big things.

"Steff has a big heart and is super intelligent! We always have a giggle about the big words she uses (which I have no idea what they mean)!
Kathryn will be taking her online pyjama business into the boardroom with hopes of securing Lord Sugar's £250K investment.
