The Chase viewers were distracted during tonight's episode after they spotted Steven Spielberg 'making an appearance.
Viewers were left gobsmacked as they recognised the lookalike set to take part in the quiz show.
Even Bradley Walsh thought the player looked like the legendary director, saying: "Steven Spielberg is playing after the break."
The host Joked: "It's Steven Spielberg!" before singing the tune to Jaws and acting out the shark hand movements.
Fans flooded Twitter, aghast at the resemblance.
One said: "Steven Spielberg in seat 4."
While another wrote: "After Killing Eve, Shaun has to face Spielberg!"
"Steven Spielberg!" added a third fan.
The lookalike made it all the way to the final chase, alongside two other contestants.
Despite their best efforts, the team unfortunately didn't do enough to beat the chaser and lost £15k prize fund.
