The Chase fans were outraged as they claimed it was 'unfair' that tonight's team were not given a point for one of their answers.
Antony, Clare and Mike had achieved an 18 step lead against Chaser Paul Sinha and were playing for £18,000.
During the final round, presenter Bradley Walsh had asked Paul, aka the Sinnerman, which song won the first-ever Eurovision Song Contest.
Paul had answered incorrectly, so the team had the opportunity to push-back.
They said: "Puppets on a String".
Bradley wouldn't accept their answer as he said it was 'puppet' and not 'puppets'.
Many viewers thought this was too 'harsh' and argued that the team deserved the point.
One tweeted: "Puppets on a string. Blimey, that's harsh."
While another wrote: "That is not fair of Bradley not giving them the pushback for saying puppets and not puppet."
Others agreed with Bradley as they claimed the team had answered incorrectly.
One said: "I must be the only person who agrees with Brad. Puppets is a different word to puppet".
Another added: "Everybody's flipping their s*** over the fact that they were only one letter off! Calm down now!", with a laughing emoji at the end of their post.
Viewers were also baffled as they claimed Bradley had accepted one of Paul's answers when it was 'wrong'.
Paul seemingly answered "waifs and straif" as opposed to "waif and stray" when Bradley asked for "the legal term for an ownerless item".

Bradley Walsh infuriates The Chase fans as he constantly repeats 'annoying' habit
One viewer tweeted: "They wouldn't accept puppets on a string but accepted waif and straif?!"
However, others said Paul's answer was correct as one wrote: "Straif is an acceptable answer according to the OED".
The team were beaten by quizzing extraordinaire Paul and so they lost their £18k winnings.
