The Masked Singer has gripped the nation since it hit the small screen earlier this month.
Justin Hawkins, lead singer of The Darkness, was the third contestant to exit the singing competition and lifted the lid surrounding contestant secrecy.
Based on the Masked Singer franchise, which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer, the ITV programme sees celebs face off against each other and appear in elaborate costumes with full facemasks to conceal their identities.
During an exclusive chat with Daily Star Online, Justin revealed his time on the show was "isolating" as contestants are kept apart for the duration of the filming in order for them to remain anonymous.

Justin opened up about the security measures put in place in order for their identity to be kept out of the public eye, with the programme's team going to extreme lengths to protect the participants' details.
"We were transported in blacked-out cars," he said.
"Everybody stayed in different hotels – they were very very careful nobody bumped into each other outside of the studio as well, and everyone had separate soundproofed dressing rooms."

He confessed because of the separation, there was "no chat" among the contestants.
Discussing his chameleon costume, he said: "I tried to make sure I could see out of it. I didn't have much input aside from the practical issues. When they told me the idea, I thought it was brilliant so I went with that.
"Nobody was allowed to show any flesh or hair, so you have to wear a balaclava and a hoody, and a visor like a wielding mask almost."
