The Masked Singer finally revealed who was hiding behind Daisy’s mask last weekend after losing out to Monster in the final sing-off. Once Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Donny Osmond opted to save Monster, Kelis took off her costume and exposed herself as the flowery character. After her elimination, the US singer let slip a surprising backstage rule the celebrities taking part had to adhere too.
After spending four weeks with a host of weird and wonderful characters, Kelis has no idea who else is hiding behind the mask.
The US singer discussed her time on the ITV show with Lorraine from her home in America.
She revealed the lengths the Masked Singer production crew went to to make sure none of the celebrities discovered who else was taking part in the show.
“You’re not even supposed to see anyone,” Kelis explained. “The weirdest thing is just being there and not having any contact with anyone at all.

“You have shirts on that say ‘don’t speak to me’ and you’re not allowed to talk to anybody.
“You have no idea what’s going on, that is the most bizarre part of the whole thing.”
“It’s just being there and being quiet,” the US singer added.
Following her elimination from the ITV show, Lorraine asked Kelis who she thinks will go on to win.
“That’s really strange,” Lorraine remarked. “Is there anybody though now that you’re not in the competition now, is there anybody you think [will] win, have you got a favourite?”
“I have no idea, honestly no clue,” Kelis confessed. “We weren’t even allowed to watch other people’s performances.
“You’re completely kept in the dark figuratively and literally from every aspect.”
“So you don’t know anything, it’s so strange,” Lorraine commented.

Last weekend, the judges were shocked to discover Kelis was hiding behind the mask.
Rita, who had correctly guessed Kelis’ name early on in the competition, praised the US singer when her mask was removed.
“One of the most important artists when I was growing up,” she commented. “It’s sick!”
Kelis admitted she was gutted to be booted off the show after losing out to Monster, who is heavily tipped to be CeeLo Green in the sing-off.

“If I were to do it all over again, I’d have done something a little more dramatic or elaborate because that’s me,” Kelis remarked.
The pop star, who has sold six million records worldwide, described her exit as “bitter-sweet”.
“I definitely was getting a little bit competitive,” she confessed.
The Masked Singer continues Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
