Fans of ITV flagship daytime show This Morning have called for Cat Deeley to be made a permanent host of the show.
Together with Rylan Clark, Deeley, 47, has been steering the show since Monday (November 13), as regular presenter Josie Gibson leaves the sofa behind for the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Former permanent host Holly Willoughby dramatically left the show earlier this year.
The SMTV Live legend joined former Big Brother star Rylan as they took on the reins for the week on Monday's episode. During the show, the pair were inundated with positive comments from viewers watching at home.

Rylan beamed as he welcomed Cat on Monday's show, exclaiming: "Hello and welcome to Monday's This Morning. What a way to start the week – TV legend Cat Deeley is in the studio!"
Fans were pleased to see her return and bosses at the show were keen to make her presence felt as they brought back a legendary game in honour of Cat's hosting. During the show's Spin to Win segment, the pair also played a game of Wonky Donkey – a well-loved segment of her hit kids TV show SMTV Live, which she hosted with Ant and Dec.
In the segment, the winning caller – after having won money from the wheel – was encouraged to think of a rhyming adjective for another animal shown on-screen. Viewers watching the programme were left in stitches as the caller could not bring themselves to say "funky monkey" after seeing a toy monkey on the screen.
Taking to social media, fans of the show were quick to gush over Cat's grand debut, with one fan writing: "Think This Morning have finally found their permanent presenters. Loved watching these two together – Rylan and Cat actually made the show worth watching throughout".
A second user agreed with the sentiments, saying: "Cat Deeley and Rylan should be the permanent hosts for This Morning!" The fans' adoration of the pair worked as the pair returned on Tuesday's edition of the show (November 14).
In the second show of the week, the pair were just as boisterous as they had been previously, with some added extra flare to keep viewers laughing. Fans were awash with praise for the pair, with one writing on social media: "Finally, you have got it right!!!
"An enjoyable morning with Rylan and Cat Deeley. I'm sure so many will be happy at this presenting combo & now the dust will settle & we can enjoy the programme again."
This Morning airs every weekday at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
