This Morning viewers were left in tears after a grandmother called in to reveal the struggles she was facing in lockdown.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were on hand to give advice alongside agony aunt Deidre Sanders when the caller admitted she was struggling to cope in lockdown.
The caller, named Michelle, explained that she was self-isolating at home for 12 weeks because of underlying health issues and was struggling without her grandchildren as she lives alone.

Speaking through tears, Michelle said: “I am finding it really hard as I am always with my family.
“I have recently had to move out of my comfy house I had of 35 years due to a divorce and now I am in a little flat, I never really liked it but if I could get out I was alright.”
Michelle then emotionally admitted that she “doesn’t like her own company” and craved the physical love from her grandchildren.

“One of them was staying over because my daughter had a new job and I was picking him up from school, having him stay a bit overnight at least two or three nights a week,” she explained.
“It has been really hard not seeing him and I don’t like my own company and I have recently been hearing that people like me will have to stay in until they find a vaccine which is over year and I can’t do that.”
Viewers of the show were left heartbroken by the caller, with one This Morning fan writing on Twitter: “Pleeeeaase make sure you follow up with Michelle n tell her I’ll be her pal, she sounded so sad.”
