THIS Morning viewers were outraged today as show chef Phil Vickery sent Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby homemade 'KFC' by courier bike from his house in Buckinghamshire.
With the majority of the nation keeping themselves indoors and abiding by strict lockdown rules, viewers blasted the "unnecessary" trip which Phil estimated would take 30 minutes.
One furious viewer wrote on Twitter: "@thismorning what an absolute joke we are in lockdown and phil vickery sends a bike all the way to London with fried chicken talk about unnecessary travel disgusting."
Another vented: "Now that's essential travel isn't it. #Corvid19 restrictions."
As a third asked: "@thismorning is biking fried chicken into central London an essential journey? #ThisMorning #coronavirus."
Ahead of his segment, in which Phil showed viewers how to make their very own KFC, he told the presenters via videolink: "It's perfectly cooked, it's rested… Holly, there's eight pieces, just check when he gets there."
He promised them a couple of sides too, with some sweetcorn and coleslaw but no chips.
It arrived right on time, with Phil Schofield donning a TMFC as he tucked into the tasty dish.
Earlier in the show the presenters guzzled wine and ate cheese at 10am.
The presenters got stuck in to a boozy breakfast bright and as part of a virtual wine tasting segment.
They casually sipped red, white and rosé wines from European vineyards.
