This Morning's Dr Zoe Williams shows off her growing baby bump as she admit she's 'apprehensive' about birth

THIS Morning's Dr Zoe Williams has showed off her growing baby bump – but admitted she is "apprehensive" about the birth.

The Sun's GP and Fabulous Columnist revealed she was pregnant with her first baby with boyfriend Stuart McKay back in January.

Dr Zoe, 40, told Hello! magazine she "can't wait" to meet the baby but admitted she is nervous too.

She said: "I'm feeling a bit apprehensive, but also there's a small side of me that's looking forward to the birth and I can't wait to meet the baby. I can't believe I am saying that!

"I've witnessed my body go through this incredible thing and have got this newfound trust and faith in what it's capable of."

The GP added she "came into this pregnancy with a doctor's mindset".

She explained: "Having worked in obstetrics and gynaecology, I've been exposed to many more complicated births than straightforward ones.

"But we've got a doula who's attended many births and she is helping me readdress what my ideas are around everything.

"Thinking about a home birth is a massive shift for me, although I'm still weighing up all my options."

Zoe previously revealed she had thought about going down the IVF route by herself before meeting Stuart two years ago.

She told Hello! in another interview: "There are two big ambitions I always had in life – one was to be a doctor and the other was to be a mother."

Zoe met Stuart in a bar in Portugal in 2019 and thankfully he was just as keen to start a family as she was when they discussed it on one of their early dates.

He told Hello!: "I told her she should have a back-up and keep investigating her options but at the same time I said I believed it would work out between us and, if it did, I would love to have children with her."
