This Morning's huge blunder as Holly promises £100k to competition winner instead of £1k as 'wheels come off' show

HOLLY Willoughby suffered a big blunder on today's This Morning as a slip of the tongue massively altered the Dosh on Your Doorstop jackpot.

Introducing the popular competition, Holly said: "Alison Hammond is giving another lucky view the chance to win £100,000."

Viewers' eyes will have momentarily popped out of their heads at the inflated sum which was in fact 100 times bigger than the real prize.

Realising her mistake, Holly then said: "No she's not. £1k. Just £1k. What I said, minus £99k. And you're left with the correct amount. It's just £1k, which is a lot of money."

It was the first in series of errors that had the presenters giggling.

When the camera cut to Alison at a 'secret location', viewers were greeted with a close-up shot of a brick wall.

The camera chaos then went the other way as Alison was bypassed in favour of a longshot of the street.

Back in the studio, Holly joked: "How have the wheels come off the show at two minutes in?"

Adding to the hilarity, Alison's cardigan button needed fixing with help from a good Samaritan neighbour.

On Monday Holly kicked off her return to work with a spontaneous tap dance in a sexy pink dress.

The presenter, 40, excitedly celebrated being back on-screen after months off on her summer holiday.

Holly – joined by her co-host Phillip – stood outside ITV's studios in the sunshine to introduce the cast of Anything Goes.

The theatre show, which is playing at London's Barbican, got Holly in the mood to dance.
