Top Boy: Season 3 official trailer on Netflix
WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Top Boy.
Top Boy’s Jaq was among the most trusted of the Summerhouse gang, but does she die in season three?
Jaq (played by Jasmine Jobson) was the right-hand woman of Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane “Kano” Robinson) who was always on hand if things became difficult for the kingpins.
However, everything quickly changed for her as her sister Lauryn (Saffron Hocking) drowned in the bath after taking drugs, leaving her newborn son an orphan.
Jaq was devastated by Lauryn’s death which opened her eyes to the reality of drugs and went on a mission to stop the same thing from happening to others.
She managed to steal Sully’s drugs from a safehouse and had planned to get rid of it, going on the run with girlfriend Becks (Adwoa Aboah) and Lauryn’s son so they wouldn’t be hurt.

Jaq realises that they would never be entirely safe with Dushane and Sully after her so she instead decides to apologise and hand back the drugs.
She plans on meeting Sully at the community centre for the handover when Dushane intercepts her, punches Jaq and steals the bags so he can pay for his escape out of the country.
When she arrives with no bags in hand, Sully is furious and tells Jaq she has no “guarantee”, meaning she and her family are in danger.
So understandably, fans were left concerned for Jaq’s welfare, especially seeing as she wanted to go straight.

Does Jaq die in Top Boy?
Thankfully, Jaq doesn’t die by the end of season three of Top Boy, despite the threats.
Sully is too wrapped up in getting his drugs back from Dushane which, in turn, results in him fatally shooting his business partner.
She doesn’t know this at the time though but when Jaq arrives home, she tells Becks everything is going to be alright.
This is a big part of why many Netflix subscribers think Jaq could have been the one behind the shocking final moment.
Sully was ready to drive off when a mysterious shooter pulled the trigger on him through his car window and walked off.
Some fans are pointing out how the killer’s jacket looked like Jaq’s and walked away in a similar manner.
With Sully out of the picture, Jaq and her loved ones are safe but with this being the final series, the identity of the shooter won’t be revealed.
Top Boy is available to watch on Netflix.
