Towie cast fuel rumours of show legend's return after 'talks' with bosses | The Sun

A TOWIE favourite has been tipped to make an iconic return to the reality TV series.

Back in January, mum of one Lauren Goodger, 36, first teased a second stint on the show that made her famous.

Now OG TOWIE cast member Harry Derbidge, 29, has added more fuel to the speculation and confirmed there have been "talks."

He told MailOnline: "If I could have anyone come back, I think Lauren Goodger.

"She might have been in talks at one point, it was definitely up in the air.

"I'd love Lauren to come back. I feel like she's in a new chapter in her life now."

Talking of the current cast, he added: "Junaid's friends with her, I speak to her, the girls speak to her. So she'd be the perfect person to bring back as an original.

"I think we need some more originals back. Me and Amy [Childs] can't be the only ones."

Lauren has remained a household name since quitting the series in 2012 after six seasons.

The glam star signed up in 2010.

She first starred on the show with ex boyfriend Mark Wright and speaking to The Sun at the Inspiration Awards for Women at the Landmark Hotel, said: "Is the door still open for TOWIE? Never say Never.

TOWIE is the show that opened so many doors for me. I will forever be grateful. So who knows, in the future I could go back."

Lauren was left devastated last July when she confirmed her second daughter Lorena tragically passed away following complications at birth in an Instagram post.

The doting mother shared her daughters with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury.

Now Lauren is putting her energy into being the best mum for LaRose.

She said: "I've taken time out for myself.

"I have archived my Instagram posts, not deleted them for good, so some of them could make a return.

"I'm just starting afresh, but I'm still doing my charity work for Lorenna's cause which is so important to me."
