HMP Belmarsh's only transgender prisoner has told Ross Kemp that she misses her dad, who she killed in a "suicide pact".
Claire Darbyshire, 36, killed her father Brian, 67 at their home in Dagenham, east London, on 2 September 2015.
During the trial, Darbyshire claimed they had made a suicide pact as his MS illness had become "intolerable".
She was convicted of murder but given one of the lowest minimum terms of British legal history – four years – after the judge acknowledged it was an act of mercy.
In tonight's Welcome to HMP Belmarsh with Ross Kemp, Darbyshire revealed that she misses her dad and feels remorse for his death.
Reflecting on life following her father's death, she added: "I had no reason to live without my dad, but I couldn’t do it.

"[It is] something I still feel bad about, I should have gone with him."
Speaking of the moment she first entered the Category A prison Darbyshire described it as "daunting".
She added: "It was kind of like, ‘Oh my God I’m the odd one out here. What are the other inmates going to be like, how are they going to treat me as a trans person?’”
Darbyshire said some prisoners say "show us your t*ts".

She also admitted the fear of being sexually abused in the prison "was at the back of her mind".
Darbyshire said that she was "on edge" that the officers couldn't always be near her.
During the episode, the woman's parole board hearing was upcoming where she would face a panel who decide on whether or not she's safe to release.
"All you can do is hope for the best, expect the worst," she told Ross.

"Hopefully this will be the end of this chapter of my life and I can go and start a new one."
In the first part of the documentary last week, Ross visited former EDL leader Tommy Robinson, who broke down in tears during their conversation.
