Last night’s episode of Euphoria gave us a deep dive on a character that most people probably could have gone without a deep dive of, but here we are! Cal Jacobs got the spotlight. The show took viewers back to Cal’s high school days, showing a little context for where his own issues come from, and how he then passed down those issues to his son Nate.
Namely, we learned that Cal was dating Nate’s mom while also having a will-they-won’t-they relationship with his best friend Derek in high school. Before everyone was supposed to head off to college, Cal got a call from his girlfriend where he found out that she was pregnant, and whatever his relationship with Derek could have been was suddenly ripped away. Hm, interesting. There are a lot of parallels here!
So what actor was responsible for bringing young Cal to life? Here’s everything we know.
Meet Elias Kacavas
Elias is a relatively new actor, so there’s not a ton about him out on the interwebz, but we do know based on his IMDb that he is from New Hampshire, and he went to NYU to study acting for a brief period of time before leaving to go do some professional acting, like his role in Euphoria. He’s Greek. Here is his Instagram, for your creeping purposes:

He plays the guitar! Or at least poses as a person who plays the guitar for photos! Very cute.
We’re going to see more from him soon:
Aside from his role as Cal, Elias was recently cast in the Pretty Little Liars reboot, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. He plays Greg, but the details about that reboot are still fairly unknown, so it’s hard to know what his role will really be like.

Here’s the plot summary, though: Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a brand-new set of Little Liars finds themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant.
